I'm an Assistant Director of the U.S. House of Representatives Daily Press Gallery. My job is to help daily print and online media reporters cover the House and the Capitol.

Coming from a journalism background with bylines published world-wide, my role fits squarely with my previous reporting experience. I focus acutely on the House floor and the daily happenings of the U.S. House of Representatives so journalists have the information and access they need to do their jobs. My office serves as a hub for reporters to find important information, work and cover news of national interest.

Before joining the Daily Press Gallery, I was a global markets reporter for S&P Global Market Intelligence, where I covered geopolitical risks and events as they affect financial markets. Before joining S&P Global, I covered the intersection of healthcare and financial policy and legislation for The Hill/The Hill Extra, a subscription-based service for industry professionals.

I covered the 2016 election for the Los Angeles Times in their D.C. bureau. I reported for ABC News in Washington at the start of the 2016 election cycle, and I was stationed in Missouri's statehouse in Jefferson City for two years, where I covered the legislative efforts following the unrest in Ferguson. I've been based in Washington D.C. since 2016.

I'm a proud alumna of the Missouri School of Journalism and a Connecticut native.
